Introduction:

Vacuum freeze drying is the process of removing water or other solvents from frozen samples. In the whole drying process, sublimation is used to avoid the sample passing through the liquid state, and the sample is in the vacuum state, and the temperature is generally lower than - 10 ºC. The purpose of vacuum freeze-drying is to restore the original characteristics of samples after rehydration.

Because the drying process is carried out at low temperature, it can be used for some substances that are easily denatured at high temperature, such as protein, etc., and can ensure that the properties of other compounds will not change.

After vacuum freeze-drying, most biological products, such as tissues, tissue extracts, bacteria, vaccines and serum, become dried samples, and no enzyme changes and other biochemical reactions occur in this process. Vacuum freeze drying is the most mild process to preserve the biochemical characteristics of sensitive tissues or other tissues, and it is also the best method to dry inorganic materials, such as nano particles, because the surface area of particles is almost constant.

USA-SFD-6 Vacuum freeze dryer is a high performance freeze dryer widely used in laboratory. It can freeze dry solid and liquid samples in glass flasks and serum flasks. All kinds of containers can be dried on the same freeze dryer:

• Surface temperature control of sample pre freezing shelf
• The main freeze-drying of samples can be carried out at a user-defined temperature
• After freeze-drying, the samples can be dried in high vacuum under the user-defined limit temperature, and the capillary and molecular bound water can be removed.

USA-SFD-6 Series dryer is suitable for bacteria, virus, plasma, serum extract, antibody, vaccine and pharmaceutical products, such as chloramphenicol, streptomycin, vitamin, enzyme and plant extract for biological test.
